London Fit Out Ltd (LFO) is delighted to announce the successful delivery of a high-end Category B fit-out for VML, part of the WPP Group, across three floors (levels 6, 7 and 8) within the iconic Sea Containers House on London’s South Bank.
Appointed as Principal Contractor, LFO was entrusted with transforming the space into a premium, fully operational workplace aligned with VML’s aesthetic, functional and operational ambitions. Working meticulously within an occupied landmark building, our team delivered a refined and high-performance environment designed to support a modern, collaborative and creative workforce.
The project encompassed a comprehensive interior reconfiguration, including new meeting suites, open-plan work areas, collaborative spaces and specialist zones. This included the installation of new partition systems, acoustic treatments and internal glazing, balancing transparency with privacy across the workspace. Bespoke joinery and carefully considered feature elements were crafted to achieve the elevated design intent. A full upgrade and modification of the mechanical and electrical services was undertaken to suit the new layout.
This included enhanced ventilation and air-conditioning adjustments, new power distribution, data cabling, containment systems and an advanced LED lighting scheme with automated controls to support energy efficiency and user comfort.
A premium suite of finishes was installed throughout the space, including engineered timber flooring, carpet, LVT and high-quality decorative treatments, which were all coordinated to deliver a cohesive and contemporary aesthetic. Bespoke furniture, fixtures and fittings were integrated to reinforce the high-end brief, while acoustic solutions were implemented to ensure comfort across meeting rooms, quiet workspaces and collaboration zones.
