Award-Winning design and heritage reimagined for Geometry’s 12,000 sq ft headquarters, the objective was to deliver a high-concept CAT B environment that balanced cutting-edge modernism with the building’s existing character. The project’s success was cemented when it was shortlisted for the prestigious BOC Award, finishing in the final five from a field of 250 entries. A defining aesthetic choice was the restoration of the original parquet timber flooring; LFO meticulously white-washed the boards across both levels, creating a bright, gallery-like foundation that contrasted beautifully with new, high-specification glass partitions and architectural fire-rated screens in the reception and lift lobbies.
The High-Octane Sound Room The technical centrepiece of the project was the construction of a bespoke, high-octane immersion studio. To meet Geometry’s requirement for a zero-vibration, high-decibel audio experience, LFO engineered a sophisticated “room-within-a-room” floating structure. This specialised sound studio was decoupled from the main building slab using high-performance acoustic isolators, preventing noise and vibration transfer to the surrounding office floors. This complex “floating” assembly allowed Geometry to provide full-volume immersive experiences for their clients without impacting the focused work happening elsewhere in the headquarters.
Dynamic Workspace and Cultural Hubs Across the two floors, LFO delivered a versatile mix of private offices, high-spec meeting rooms, and vibrant communal zones. The “heart” of the office is the feature tea point and breakout space, designed to foster spontaneous collaboration and provide a sophisticated area for internal events. Every element, from the bespoke joinery to the integrated lighting systems, was curated to reflect Geometry’s creative identity. The result is a workspace that doesn’t just function as an office, but as a strategic tool for attracting talent and impressing global clients.
Delivering a project of this calibre within a fully occupied building required a “Leap-Frog” logistical strategy. To ensure Geometry’s operations remained uninterrupted, LFO phased the 12-week build by level. We completed the first floor to total turnkey readiness, allowing staff to relocate seamlessly into their new environment. This cleared the second floor for its transformation, effectively doubling the speed of the transition while maintaining a safe, quiet, and productive environment for the client’s team throughout the construction lifecycle.
