After building a successful Construction business, he transitioned into senior leadership within the London refurbishment industry, earning his NVQ7 in Construction Senior Management to pair his hands-on skills with executive-level strategy.

As Managing Director, Armand is the “go-to” expert for both clients and staff. He is renowned for his encyclopaedic construction knowledge and his unique ability to solve complex design and specification challenges in real-time on-site. Every project presents a different puzzle, and Armand finds his greatest professional satisfaction in the “big reveal”—the moment a challenging build is handed over exactly as envisioned. His passion for the build is matched only by his commitment to the bottom line, consistently delivering major UK projects under budget and ahead of schedule.

His rapid ascent from Project Manager to Contracts Director is a testament to his meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to the highest industry standards.

With an NVQ6 in Construction Management, Gerrie specialises in the delicate balance between financial control and site productivity. He takes overall responsibility for the commercial health of his projects, ensuring that client requirements are met while effectively managing sub-contractor performance. Gerrie is known for fostering a highly motivated site culture, believing that a positive environment is the key to driving the seamless coordination required for complex, fast-track refurbishments.

Gerrie’s proactive approach is defined by his ability to identify and resolve potential obstacles long before they impact the critical path. At 55 Grosvenor St, his early detection of a design conflict in the Reflected Ceiling Plan (RCP) allowed for a pre-construction resolution that saved weeks of potential delays. Similarly, his leadership on the One Kingdom St project showcased his technical diplomacy; he spearheaded a complex MEPH design and central plant change-over, navigating sensitive building disruptions to successfully improve the asset’s EPC rating from a D to a B.

His work with the WPP Group was instrumental in aligning contract sums with client budgets, allowing the project to proceed without compromising on quality. Whether it is delivering the VAR Control Centre a full week ahead of schedule or managing high-stakes MEP integrations, Gerrie’s focus remains steadfast: completing every project on time, within budget, and with a client experience that exceeds expectations.

Antonie Roose is a senior cornerstone of the London Fit Out leadership team, bringing over 20 years of specialised industry experience to his role as Contracts Director. Having previously served as LFO’s premier Senior Project Manager, Antonie further honed his expertise at two of London’s leading Tier 1 fit-out contractors before rejoining the firm at a Directorship level. With a technical background in carpentry and ceiling systems, Antonie possesses a comprehensive, “ground-up” understanding of the commercial construction process that allows him to command even the most complex projects with total authority.

As Contracts Director, Antonie holds overall responsibility for project delivery from inception to handover. He is a staunch advocate of the “no surprises” philosophy, utilising meticulous reporting and proactive procurement strategies to ensure every project is appropriately resourced. His leadership style is characterised by a calm yet assertive presence, which proves particularly invaluable when managing live, occupied environments where stakeholder management is just as critical as the build itself. Antonie doesn’t just manage a site; he builds relationships, fostering a collaborative atmosphere between client teams, landlords, and sub-contractors.

Antonie’s true strength lies in his ability to “de-risk” a project before the first hammer is swung. He is known for challenging designs when necessary and advocating for early-stage mock-ups to resolve coordination issues long before they hit the critical path. His technical intuition was famously demonstrated at 80 Strand, where he recognised maintenance gaps early and accelerated the commissioning period to mitigate latent risks, ensuring a flawless move-in for the client.
