For Hogarth WW London headquarters, the brief was to create a high-specification CAT B environment that celebrated the building’s raw architectural character. Operating under a JCT Design & Build contract, LFO delivered a transformative interior across five floors. The design language was rooted in “Industrial Chic,” utilising bespoke feature joinery and high-end finishes to complement the existing structural elements. From the basement to the upper office floors, the goal was to create a space that felt both creatively raw and technically advanced, befitting a global production powerhouse.
The transformation centred on reimagining the flow of the building. We completely refurbished the main entrance into a striking, open-plan reception featuring integrated visitor seating and modern security turnstiles. To foster a sense of community, LFO installed custom bleacher seating in the basement to create a dedicated staff breakout hub. A standout feature of the project was the extensive use of bespoke wood-slat walls and ceilings throughout the client meeting suites. These natural textures were balanced by high-tech interventions, including a fully soundproofed immersion AV room and the installation of a new “smart” digital locker system for staff.
LFO designed and built a bespoke bar and lounge area situated immediately outside the main meeting rooms. This space serves as a sophisticated transition zone for “chill-out” time between sessions or post-meeting networking. The integration of this social hub required intricate plumbing and electrical coordination, alongside high-end lighting installations that allow the atmosphere to shift from a professional meeting environment to a relaxed social space at the touch of a button.
The true success of this project lay in its execution. With Hogarth staff in full occupation throughout the 11-week duration, LFO implemented a rigorous “out-of-hours” working strategy to ensure zero disruption to their daily operations. This complexity was further amplified by the building’s location, flanked on both sides by residential apartments. To remain a “good neighbour,” LFO developed a strict logistical strategy for deliveries and noise-intensive works, ensuring compliance with local residential constraints. By successfully navigating these dual pressures, LFO delivered a world-class headquarters on time and without compromise.
